Headen Commits to Centralia College for Baskteball

LVHS seniot forward Jaylin Headen was named to the All-State Basketball Team as an Honorable Mention.  Headen averaged 15.5 points and 9.7 rebounds per game during his senior season.  Congrats Jaylin, and best of luck in the future. 2019 Nevada Preps All-State Boys Basketball Team

Boys Basketball Wins in OT

Las Vegas 68, Cimarron-Memorial 63 — At Las Vegas, Robel Negasi hit a three pointer with 45 seconds left in overtime and John Simms made two free throws with seven seconds left giving the Wildcats the win over the Spartans. Jaylin Headen led Las Vegas (10-17) with 23 points and teammate Fernando Carmona scored 10. CLICK

2018 V-Game Champs

Las Vegas 54, Valley 44 — At Valley, Jaylin Headen scored a game-high 15 points to help the Wildcats take care off the Vikings. Isaiah Sem scored 12 for Las Vegas, which led 34-17 at halftime.
