Trace Everett Named Southern Nevada Wrestling Athlete of the Week

Athletes of the Week — Jan. 9 Wrestling Trace Everett, Las Vegas The senior pinned Palo Verde’s Jacob Sarabay to win the 120-pound title at the Bulldog Grappler at Centennial. Antonio Saldate Signing Day

Las Vegas High School’s Antonio Saldate signed a Letter of Intent to accept a “full ride” wrestling scholarship to California Baptist University (CBU) in Riverside, California.  Antonio is a 3X Nevada 4A Wrestling Champion who is excited to join the CBU Lancers Wrestling Team.

Athletes of the Week

Las Vegas High School recognized Zach Matlock (Boy’s Basketball), Brinkley McCoy (Flag Football), and Daniel Law & Trace Everett (Wrestling) as Wildcat Athletes of Week for outstanding performance in their respective sports.  Please congratulate these fine student-athletes when you see them.

Senior Night and Pack the Gym!

January 10th the Wildcat Wrestling will have their senior night and pack the gym night as they host the Rancho Rams.   All students can get in for $1 to help support our 2017-18 Wrestling team.

Athletes of the Week

Las Vegas High School recognized Donovan Joyner (Boy’s Basketball), Antonio Saldate & Mauricio Jimenez (Wrestling), and Aira Maigue (Girl’s Basketball) as Wildcat Athletes of Week for outstanding performance in their respective sports.

Wrestlers Sign Letters of Intent

Wildcat Wrestlers Robbie Kaempfer and Nick Sablan signed Letters of Intent to wrestle in colllege.  Nick signed with Millkin University and Robbie with Shasta College.  Both wrestlers had outstanding careers with the Wildcats as state qualifiers each three times.
