Girls Varsity Flag Football · LVHS Flag Takes Down Legacy, Finished 2nd NE


 

Kaitlyn Horstdaniel threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns Friday as the Las Vegas High flag football team earned a 28-14 home win over Legacy.  Brooklyn Stone caught seven passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns, and Tyler Rhoads caught four passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns for the Wildcats.  Josselin Sandoval had seven tackles for the Wildcats, who held the Longhorns scoreless in the second half.  Legacy entered the night ranked #3 in Southern Nevada and undefeated in Northeast League play.  Las Vegas will enter Mountain Region Tournament play as the #2 seed and will play the winner of Bonanza/Cheyenne on Wednesday the 13th @Cimmaron HS @4pm.  Click HERE to view the playoff bracket.
